Rihards Lībietis Orchestra

Rihards Libietis Orchestra (LV) is a quintet, performing instrumental, dynamic world music, mixing together various influences from African, Middle-Eastern, Latvian folk music with Blues and Jazz.

RL Orchestra regularly performs in various events and festivals in the Baltic region. The band consists of Rihards Libietis (guitar), Gints Smukais (guitar), Janis Polis (bass), Matiss Repsis (percussion instruments), Erna Daugaviete (cello).

The band was formed in 2015, and since then have released 4 well-received albums, the latest is “Willful Blindness” (2021).
